General
In accordance with our legal obligation, we would like to inform you about the collection and use of your personal data. When you use our website, personal data about you is collected. This may occur when you enter the data yourself – such as your email address. Our system also collects data from you automatically, such as your visit to our website. This occurs regardless of the device or software you use to access our website. Any entry of data by you on our website is voluntary; there will be no disadvantages for you if you do not disclose your data. However, without certain data, we are unable to provide services or conclude contracts. We will draw your attention to such mandatory information in each case. On this website, personal user data is only collected within the framework of applicable data protection law, in particular the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The technical terms used in this text are explained in more detail in Art. 4 of the GDPR. According to the GDPR, data processing is permitted in three cases in particular:
Inventory data
We collect inventory data to the extent necessary for the establishment, content design, or modification of a (even free-of-charge) contractual relationship between us and the user. This may include: customer data (e.g., name, address), contact details (e.g., email address, telephone number), and service data (e.g., ordered service, term, fee). When establishing the user relationship, we will request this data from you (e.g., name, address, and email address) and also inform you to what extent the information is mandatory in order to establish the user relationship.
Usage data
We also collect usage data to enable users to use the services on our website. This may include: usage information (e.g., web pages or areas accessed, length of visit, interest in services), content data (e.g., data entered or uploaded by you, text, images, sounds, videos), metadata (e.g., identity of your device, location, IP address).
Initial contact via electronic request
If you contact us electronically (e.g. email, fax, telephone, messenger, etc.), we will save and process the data you have provided to us (e.g. name, contact information, content of the inquiry). The legal basis for this is our legitimate interest in effective customer communication in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR and, if it concerns an inquiry to enter into or fulfill a contract, also Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR. We will only pass this data on to third parties if it is necessary for the fulfillment of the contract (according to Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR), if this corresponds to the overriding interest in effective service (according to Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR) or if your consent (according to Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR) or there is another legal permission or obligation. You can request information from us at any time and free of charge about the purpose of the processing, origin and, if applicable, recipients of your personal data. You can also request the rectification, erasure, and restriction of processing of your personal data. You can object to the (further) processing of your data at any time and have a right to data portability and a right to lodge a complaint with the responsible supervisory authority. Your data will generally only be stored for as long as required for the purpose of the respective data processing. Further storage is primarily considered if it is still necessary for legal proceedings or for legitimate interests, or if there is a legal obligation to retain the data (e.g., tax retention periods, statute of limitations).
consent
If we ask for your consent to process your data, we will inform you in clear and easily accessible language about the cases for which you are giving your consent. Any consent we request is voluntary; you can also get any benefit you would like to obtain by giving consent without consent; just ask us. For every consent, you have the right to revoke your consent to process your personal data at any time. This can be done by sending an informal message, e.g. via our contact form, an email to the email address provided in the imprint, or an unsubscribe link (if offered by us). Your revocation does not affect the legality of the data processing carried out up to that point.
Storage period
Your data will generally only be stored for as long as required for the purpose of the respective data processing. Further storage will primarily be considered if it is still necessary for us to pursue legal action or for our other legitimate interests. For your inventory data that was required to fulfill a contractual relationship (even one that was free of charge), this means that we will store it until the contractual relationship has been fully fulfilled or terminated, plus the limitation period (which is generally 2 or 3 years), plus a reasonable surcharge for any interruption of the limitation period. For your usage data, which was collected during your use of the website, this means that we will only store it for as long as it is still necessary for the proper functioning of our website and for our legitimate interest. We will primarily only store statistical information in pseudonyms. We will also store your data if we are legally obliged to do so. This particularly applies to tax retention periods, which are generally 6 or even 10 years.

Our website uses external providers based outside the EU for various functions. Cookies, active Java scripts and other technologies in particular may result in your data being processed and stored outside the EU. However, we will not pass your data on to a third country unless the EU Commission has determined that data protection is comparable to that in the EU, or you have given us your informed consent, or we have agreed standard contractual clauses with the provider to protect your data. Further information on your rights with regard to each transfer of data to the USA mentioned below can be found at https://ec.europa.eu/justice/data-protection/document/citizens-guide_en.pdf .

We will then promptly correct, block, or even delete your personal data within the legal framework.
Contradiction
You may object at any time to any processing of your personal data that we base on a balancing of your interests in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR if there are reasons for doing so that arise from your particular personal situation. We will then no longer process your data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing that override your interests, rights, and freedoms, or the processing serves to assert, exercise, or defend our legal claims.
